Vinegar Valentines: A Workshop with Rhian Edwards
Friday 14 February 2020
The Temple of Peace
13:00 – 15:00
Multi-prize winning Welsh Poet and performer Rhian Edwards presents: Vinegar Valentines, a workshop of lovers lost; lovers unrequited, lovers-done-me wrong and lovers I’ve done-wrong. We will look at how to explore the concept of love in a creative, visceral, even humorous way, as well as writing a character portrait about a lover, past or present. For this exercise, I would recommend bringing a photograph or souvenir of this person. Notepads, pens required.
Disclaimer: You will not get a hallmark card or Fifty Shades of Grey out of this workshop!
Brief feature on ‘Make a Living as a Poet’ and performance by Edwards.
£15, or £10 concession (book in advance, limited numbers)
Society of Authors members may also purchase concession tickets for this event only.

Her pamphlet of poems Parade the Fib, (Tall-Lighthouse), was awarded the Poetry Book Society Choice for autumn 2008. And her illustrated pamphlet of poems Brood (Seren) was published in May 2017.
