Katherine Stansfield, Cornerstone’s Poet in Residence for 2018, reads from her new pamphlet of poems, All That Was Wood, written throughout 2018. A novelist as well as a poet, Stansfield’s first collection of poems is the wryly witty Playing House. Katherine will be joined by special guests: Carmarthen-born Emily Blewitt, reading from her debut, This is Not a Rescue, and Cumbria-based rising star Kim Moore with her prize-wining The Art of Falling.

Readings and a generous buffet.

Owen Sheers Presents: ‘To Provide all People’

We will be showing the acclaimed BBC film of Owen Sheer’s work inspired by the 70th anniversary of the NHS. Owen will be reading sections of his Faber long poem of the same name and answering questions from the audience.
