Mae Kezia Lily Rose Meriel Crawford-Southgate (ganwyd 25 Ebrill 1996), y’i gelwir yn Kizzy, yn gantores a thelynegwr Barbadaidd-Cymraeg sy’n hanu o Ferthyr Tudful, ac sy’n canu’n Gymraeg a Saesneg, gan ddefnyddio ffynonellau traddodiadol a modern. Dechreuodd ysgrifennu caneuon yn dair ar ddeg mlwydd oed.

Addysgwyd Kizzy yn Gymraeg ers pan oedd yn bedair oed, a hi yw’r hynaf o bump o blant. Mae ganddi chwaer, Eädyth, sydd hefyd yn gantores. Mae teulu ei thad yn wreiddiol o Farbados a symudodd y teulu i Reading yn y 1950au. Mae ei chefndir Barbadaidd a’i theulu estynedig ym Marbados yn agos at ei chalon ac mae’n ystyried ei hun yn Farbadaidd-Cymraeg.

Enillodd Crawford wobr Canwr-Telynegwr Gwreiddiol Arts Connect yn 2012 a arweiniodd at gyfle i weithio gydag Amy Wadge, gan gynnwys recordio ei sengl gyntaf, The Starling, a’i fideo gyda menter diwydiant cerddoriaeth ieuenctid SONIG gan Arts Connect.

Perfformiodd ei chân “The Starling” yn fyw ar Sioe Bethan Elfyn BBC Radio Wales fis Awst 2013. Cafodd y gân ei chyhoeddi fel ei sengl gyntaf fis Tachwedd 2013, ac yna ei EP, Temporary Zone, fis Rhagfyr, a gyhoeddwyd gan label recordio o Gaerdydd, See Monkey Do Monkey. Ynghyd â nifer o ymddangosiadau ar y radio a’r teledu yng Nghymru yn ystod 2013, mae hi hefyd wedi perfformio’n fyw mewn sawl lleoliad, gan gynnwys Gŵyl FOCUS Cymru, Gŵyl Sŵn, Gŵyl y Dyn Gwyrdd, Castell Caerffili a Maes B yn Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru. Mae Crawford hefyd wedi perfformio yng Ngŵyl Rhif 6.

Fis Tachwedd 2021, cyhoeddodd Crawford ei halbwm gyntaf yn Gymraeg wedi’i recordio/ cynhyrchu/ cymysgu ei hun, o’r enw “Rhydd” gyda Sain Recordiau.

Kezia Lily Rose Meriel Crawford-Southgate (born 25 April 1996), known as Kizzy, is a Bajan-Welsh singer songwriter from Merthyr Tydfil, who sings in both English and Welsh, using traditional and modern sources. She began writing songs at the age of thirteen.

Kizzy was educated in Welsh from the age of four and is the eldest of five children. She has a sister, Eädyth, who is also a singer. Her father’s family hails from Barbados and the family emigrated to Reading in the 1950s. Her Bajan heritage and extended family in Barbados are important to her and she considers herself Bajan-Welsh.

Crawford won the Arts Connect Original Singer-Songwriter prize in 2012 resulting in work with Amy Wadge including recording her first single Starling and its video with Arts Connect’s Song – youth music industry initiative.

She performed her song “The Starling” live on BBC Radio Wales’s Bethan Elfyn Show in August 2013. This was then released as her debut single in November 2013 followed by her EP Temporary Zone in December, released by Cardiff record label See Monkey Do Monkey. Together with many radio and TV appearances in Wales during 2013, she has also performed live at various venues including FOCUS Wales Festival, the Sŵn festival, the Green Man Festival, Caerphilly Castle and Maes B at the National Eisteddfod of Wales. Crawford also performed at Festival No 6.

In November 2021, Crawford released her first self recorded/ produced/ mixed and debut Welsh Album “Rhydd” with Sain Records.
